Core Capabilities

Built for every payload

PHOENIX pairs a configurable heavy-lift airframe with a hardened autonomy stack, so the payload changes to match the mission — not the airframe, not the operator's training, not the ground control app.

CAP / 01 — Configurable Payload Bay

One airframe. Six weight classes.

From 5 kg field resupply loads to a full 200 kg heavy-lift configuration, PHOENIX's cargo bay and lift system scale to the mission — a single procurement line covering everything from rapid resupply to bulk logistics.

CAP / 02 — Extended Endurance

Up to 70 minutes overhead.

A high-density power module buys PHOENIX up to 70 minutes unloaded, and no less than 40 minutes at full 200 kg payload — holding station or covering distance long after lighter cargo platforms have to return and recharge.

CAP / 03 — Winch Deployment & Recovery

Drop it. Don't land it.

A configurable winch mechanism lets PHOENIX deploy its payload remotely mid-flight without ever touching down, and a fail-safe parachute protects both aircraft and ground crew in the event of an in-flight anomaly.

CAP / 04 — Autonomous Mission Control

Plan once. Fly hands-off.

The KlmFly app plans a full waypoint delivery mission and launches it with one confirmed command. Autonomous navigation carries it through — the operator stays on the drop zone while the aircraft handles the flying.

CAP / 05 — Electronic Counter Measures

Fights through jamming.

An active ECM suite defends against GPS and radio jamming, working in tandem with a frequency-hopping command & control link. When the spectrum gets hostile, PHOENIX keeps flying, keeps transmitting, and keeps its operator in command.

CAP / 06 — All Weather · All Terrain

−55°C to +65°C. IP55 rated.

Uncompromised operations in difficult terrain while prioritising mission safety. A wide operational temperature range and rain-capable weatherproofing give commanders genuine flexibility across seasons and theatres, on top of a 50 km/h wind resilience rating.

CAP / 07 — Encrypted Quad-Band Link

Built to fly through interference.

FHSS frequency-hopping with AES channel encryption protects the command and video link across up to four independent frequency bands — so the mission map, live feed and telemetry can't be intercepted or spoofed mid-flight.

CAP / 08 — Radar Obstacle Avoidance

Sees the terrain before it does.

An omni-directional radar array, available as an option across the PHOENIX line, detects obstacles in every direction and compensates for changing terrain in real time — holding a safe clearance over ridgelines, structures and tree lines in complex environments without operator intervention.

CAP / 09 — Hot-Swappable Battery System

Reload power, not the aircraft.

Dual or quad hot-swappable battery packs, depending on configuration, let ground crews cycle fresh power into PHOENIX between sorties in seconds rather than waiting out a full charge cycle — keeping the airframe on mission instead of on the charger.

CAP / 10 — Dual RTK GNSS

Knows heading without a compass.

An optional dual-antenna RTK GNSS system, available across the PHOENIX line, derives heading directly from carrier-phase positioning instead of a magnetometer — eliminating compass-related drift near metal structures and vehicles, while adding meaningful anti-jamming and anti-spoofing resilience over a single-antenna GNSS setup.

Flight Performance

Rated above Everest base camp

PHOENIX shares its altitude envelope with the KLM Sentinel series — a 29,400 ft launch altitude and a 36,000 ft service ceiling, well above most tactical quadcopters and within reach of Everest's summit elevation, even under a full cargo load.

36,000 FT — PHOENIX SERVICE CEILING 29,400 FT — PHOENIX MAX LAUNCH ALTITUDE 29,032 FT — MT. EVEREST SUMMIT ≈15,000 FT — TYPICAL TACTICAL QUADCOPTER CEILING SEA LEVEL
